Pate Road

Following more than a decade of strong growth, it was necessary to increase our capacity and create new opportunities for development of products using raw ingredients.

Pate Road, our satellite production facility, was established less than half a mile away from our main site, to take full advantage of sharing the product and process skills held within our business.

The design of the facility is based on that of Kettleby Foods , but includes an area where raw ingredients can be assembled into meals to cook at home, enhancing the quality for our end consumer. The site has its own management team including Kevin Pochin, the longest serving member of staff, who has been at Samworth Brothers for over 20 years.
